Update - Analytical Lab Renovation & Opening | May 11, 2023
Tri-Pac is pleased to announce the opening of our newly renovated on-site Analytical Lab at our primary manufacturing facility at Kenmore Street. The updated lab expands Tri-Pac's analytical capability with additional instrumentation including Agilent HPLC's, Shimadzu HPLC & TOC, Agilent GC's and other state-of-art technologies. The new lab has meets GLP standards and is equipped with Part 11 validated Caliber LIMS to streamline process and optimize testing and compliance.
Grand Opening - Innovation & Technology Center | March 15, 2023
After months of planning, site preparation and cross functional team execution, we're pleased to announce the completion of Tri-Pac's 2,000 square feet innovation & co-creation center at our Technology Drive facility. Product development and innovation in dispensing solutions and formulations is a core strength of Tri-Pac which continues to contribute to sustained growth and differentiation. The new area increases bench space and hood space by 3X and allows our dedicated innovation team to work directly with our customers and create value to brands and brand extensions. The space also hosts customers on-site for innovation seminars and rapid on-site product feedback and approvals.

Tri-Pac Aerosol personal lubricant technology recognized by Aerosol Dispensing Forum at the award ceremony at the Paris Packaging Week 2023. We are thrilled for our brand partners for being recognized at the prestigious global event. The technology uses innovative valve and actuator technology, a combination of different weight non-Newtonian silicones that will shear thin and provides optimum stream during use, and once sprayed, settle into the use points without dripping.

Integration of Lab Information Management System | February 2, 2022
Tri-Pac is pleased to implement and integrate a Part 11 Compliant Lab Information Management System into current Quality Systems. The suite will integrate crucial processes such as project management, innovation and clinical scopes, supplier qualification, product release, method development and validations, integration of instruments including HPLC, FTIR, GC and Certificate of Analysis generation. The addition of the LIMS suite reinforces Tri-Pac's commitment to quality and technology. The upgrade further ensures compliance to 21 CFR 210/211 & 820. Integration of Quality Management Software System | July 1, 2021
Tri-Pac is pleased to implement and integrate a Part 11 Compliant Quality Management Software Suite into current Quality Systems. The suite will integrate Document Control, CAPA Management, Training, Change Control, Customer Complaints, Non Conformance and most importantly Batch Record Control and Management. Expansion of onsite capabilities - Solvent Tank Farm | January 12, 2021
Tri-Pac announces addition of four (4) 20,000 gallon tanks solvent and bulk liquid storage capability. The storage tanks are equipped with state-of-art safety and detection systems including overflow dikes, Leak detection, Clean-in-place, and temperature control, PLC controlled valves and pumps. The solvent tank farm will allow Tri-Pac to eliminate tote and drum waste and realize increased purchase efficiencies as well as operational efficiencies including increased safety measures for handling and transporting of flammables and regulated products.
SAP Warehouse Management System | December 25, 2020
Tri-Pac is pleased to confirm successful and on-time installation and implementation of SAP Warehouse Management System across all facilities and production lines. WMS capabilities combine Tri-Pac's SAP ERP with features such as live inventory tracking, scanning capabilities, inventory status updates, line reconciliation, OEE tracking and other features. The upgrades will assist Tri-Pac's goals of OTIF, OEE and Inventory turnover ratios and reinforces Tri-Pac's commitment to Customer Focused, Quality Driven.
New Facility Addition - Warehouse and Fulfillment | October 20, 2020
Tri-Pac, Inc is pleased to announce purchase of a new 55,000 sq. ft. Facility at Technology Drive in South Bend, IN, USA. The facility houses 5,000 sq ft of office and lab and is attached to a 55,000 sq. ft. warehousing area. The warehouse will serve as the primary incoming. storage and fulfillment facility and will further Tri-Pac's Just-in-time and Kanban capabilities. The Technology drive facility is fully powered by SAP Warehouse Management System and is fully integrated into Tri-Pac's SAP ERP system.

Expansion of onsite capabilities - Rapid Microbial | December 24 , 2019
Tri-Pac announces addition of on-site Rapid Microbial system through Neogen Biolumix system. The new microbial system is one of the only validated systems approved by the FDA and fully complies with Part 11 Compliance as required by the 21 CFR Part 820, 210 & 211. The rapid microbial system is fully compliant and validated to perform USP 61 & 62 on a range of OTC and Medical Devices. The system will be capable of efficacy testing USP 51 by June 2020.

Tri-Pac's is pleased to announce the completion expansion, relocation , qualification and validation of its manufacturing operations from Vandalia, MI to South Bend, IN. Tri-Pac took over the South Bend facility in October 2017 and started relocation and qualification activities in February 2018. With its expansion, Tri-Pac facility now houses multiple cleanroom suites, fully validated and qualified equipment, processes, utilities and labs. Tri-Pac now serves Fortune 500 companies and niche healthcare companies from its South Bend Facilities and manufactures a spectrum of healthcare and personal care products in aerosol, tubes, liquids and vials.

Tube Filling capability and expansion of facility | April 3, 2019
Tri-Pac's is pleased to announce addition of a Norden Capmatic NM702 automated tube filling line. With the new addition, Tri-Pac now expands its capability to service customers across the medical device, otc, personal care and cosmetics product category in all package options including aerosols, liquids, vials and tubes. The tube filling line, Line 8, is fully equipped with auto loader, change parts for multitude of diameters, auto alignment, cleaner, concentrate filling accurate of +/- 1% fill weights, tube cutting, coding, leak detection and auto check weighing. Other capabilities include fill level sensors and filler bowl level sensors. The product is fed through disposal totes with products in disposal fda grade liners capable of a 98% product yield. New Vial filling liquid line and expansion of facility | June 1, 2018
Tri-Pac announced addition of a Capmatic Vial filling liquid line. With the addition of this fully automated line including a bottle sorter, plug placer, cap inserter, and sanitary liquid filling, Tri-Pac adds to its capacity of contract manufacturing regulated products such as vials, droppers, and other specialty liquids (0.3 ml - 15 ml). The line is constructed of sanitary and stainless steel fittings, operated by a PLC and is fully qualified and validated per CFR to manufacture human OTC, high end cosmetics and medical devices. Filling speeds from 20-40 CPM. The line includes inline checkweigher, label alignment optics and fill level sensors for your controlled products.
Aerosol Foam Hand Sanitizer - Alcohol| March 15, 2018
Tri-Pac's is pleased to announce market leading research and development in hand sanitizers. Tri-Pac's R&D team announces its newest product offering, an aerosol foam hand sanitizer - 62.5% Alcohol v/v. The product has been tested at third party labs for Human Repeat Insult Patch Test (HRIPT) with 200 test subjects, results showing no irritation, sensitization and hypoallergenic. In addition, time kill tests indicate a log reduction of >5 with a 99.9999% kill rate on 20 basic bacteria. Product has been fully stability tested and available for sampling and testing.

New High Speed Rotary Liquid filling line and expansion of facility

Tri-Pac announces addition of a new high speed rotary piston filling liquid line. With the addition of this fully automated line including automatic bottle feeders, chuck capper and torque machine, labelers and cartoner/ bundlers, Tri-Pac adds to its capacity of over 25 million units on its liquid filling operations and continues to expand its contract filling offerings in the OTC, Personal Care and Household product categories. The automated line includes additional SPC capability including checkweighers, label alignment optics and fill level sensors. In addition the line is Food grade Stainless steel with filling speeds of up to 200 CPM
